Questionnaire Results Published

The results show 93% of participants agree with the vision statement

The Parish will develop, but retain its unique identify, and be a strong, sustainable rural community with  thriving village at its heart.  The village will remain distinct in character from nearby market towns and suburbs.

The results also show that most participants are not opposed to development, but do have preferences over what form it should take.

Detailed results  can be found here.

Wickets Update

The Wickets planning application did not go before the 10th November Planning Committee.  When asked about likely timing, this is what the case officer said:

“As yet I have not added this to a committee agenda. I provided some feedback to the agent, which they are currently considering. This may result in the scheme being amended. If amended plans are received, I would arrange for a re-consultation to be undertaken.”

It appears that equipment for a traffic survey has been installed in the vicinity of the site.
